Jaarlijkse militaire oefeningen

In Lombardsijde vinden deze week de jaarlijkse militaire oefeningen plaats.

Die vinden plaats op land, maar ook langs de waterlijn en op zee.

Hoewel de oefening plaatsvindt op de Noordzee, valt deze eenheid wel degelijk onder de landcomponent van het Belgisch leger.

Tijdens de oefeningen wordt ondermeer gebruik gemaakt van zodiacs die landen op het strand om personeel op te pakken of af te zetten.
