Koninklijke Orde van de Paardenvissers zoekt jonge leden

De Koninklijke Orde van de Paardenvissers in Koksijde zoekt dringend jonge krachten om de eeuwenoude traditie te behouden.

Al 57 jaar zet de Orde zich in voor de promotie van de garnaalvissers te paard. Dankzij de Unesco-erkenning groeit de internationale belangstelling, maar de Orde zelf vergrijst. “Jongeren tonen weinig interesse, en zonder nieuwe leden komt onze toekomst in gevaar,” zegt Grootmeester René Decorte.

Om deze unieke folklore te laten voortbestaan, zijn nieuwe leden onmisbaar. Geïnteresseerden zijn welkom!
