NIEUWPOORT – AFSCHEID VAN CAFE DEN ASTRA EN VAN ANN

Vorige zaterdag heeft Ann Verheye afscheid genomen van haar café “Den Astra”. 33 jaar heeft Anntje van ‘den Astra’ achter de toog gestaan. In al die jaren heeft Ann het café zien evalueren van ‘het kloppend hart van Nieuwpoort’ naar een plaats waar toeristen even komen verpozen. Het café krijgt nu een nieuwe eigenaar die heeft grootse plannen om het café te renoveren en te vernieuwen. Ann nam vorige zaterdag afscheid. Nieuwpoort gaat ze missen. Haar warmte, haar persoonlijkheid en onvermoeibare inzet. Dank je wel, Ann !
