Pilootproject Belreefs

Het pilootproject Belreefs heeft groen licht gekregen. Het project moet de verdwenen oesterbanken in de Belgische Noordzee herstellen. De dienst Marien Milieu van de federale overheidsdienst Volksgezondheid werkt daarvoor samen met wetenschappers van ILVO, de Vlaamse Visveiling en de haven van Oostende. Tegen einde deze zomer worden de eerste oesters in zee geplaatst.
